The Flatiron D2 one-hand knife brings design and function together: the so-called cleaver blade shape is integrated into a folding knife with a micarta handle, skilfully implemented it creates a knife for all everyday tasks or as Gerber calls it: "EDC knife" (every-day-carry ). The high-performance steel D2 is used for the blade, the blade is opened at the blade breakthrough and locked with a frame lock. Micarta is characterized by it's high grip even when wet, since the absorbent carrier material of the fiber-plastic composite becomes slightly rougher when wet.
