The Gerber LMF II is definitely a knife with history. The Molle-compatible knife is extremely robust and versatile, and has a blade made of 420HC stainless steel with a partially serrated edge. None other than Jeff Freeman, well-known among knife enthusiasts, designed the LMF II. Due to the original requirement, the LMF II was designed so that the outer skin of a jet can be cut through and therefore the back of the blade is up to 5mm thick.
