Cool tips for cooling:
You can improve the cooling performance of all coolers by
- the box is already pre-cooled at home (e.g. with a cold pack)
- takes the chilled goods out of the fridge / freezer at home very late and puts them into the pre-cooled box
- one or more freezer packs are best placed on top of or in between the goods to be cooled
- the box in the car is not transported directly at the windows but in the shady area of the vehicle
- when camping, the box is well protected from the sun and the temperature is maintained with cooling batteries
- cover the box in shade (Attention: Do not cover the electric cooling element of thermoelectric boxes when they are running!)
- close the box immediately after removing the goods to be cooled
- Do not heat the chilled goods unnecessarily before putting them back into the box
- cool the box again with crushed ice (Attention: Meltwater collects at the bottom of the box!)
